Windscreen claims: Urgent query escalation and pre-approval proces

Auto Glass Claims Limited (AGC) has been managing NZI and Lumley independent repairer windscreen claims on our behalf since 2018.

Following ongoing feedback, we’ve made some changes which we hope will help improve the experience for independent repairers, our broker partners and customers.

Effective 21st July 2021, as your customer’s broker you’ll be able to escalate any urgent queries by phone and speak to AGC directly. This will also apply to all independent repairers.

Even though our preferred and main method of contact for all enquiries continues to be via email, this additional level of support should provide an improved experience should you need to make an urgent auto glass query.

The contact number is 0800 IAG AUTO GLASS (0800 424 288) and the operating hours will be Monday to Friday 8.30am - 4.30pm (excluding national public holidays).

Pre-approval requests

We’ve revised our pre-approval costs process and effective 21st July 2021, we will seek to assess costs and validate policies for any pre-approval requests within 24 hours (excluding weekends and public holidays).

Please note that any quote/pre-approval request will not be able to be completed over the phone; these must continue to be emailed to nziquotes@autoglassclaims.co.nz.
